Brooke & Ron Bairos Founders, The HoCo
Ron has called Sarasota home for 35 years, and Brooke for 30. It’s where we’ve built our careers, established deep roots in the community, and chosen to raise our family. We’ve spent decades serving the people who make this area so special, and The HoCo is another way for us to continue doing just that.
Meet Brooke
A lifetime of building relationships.
Brooke grew up in her family’s business, which has proudly served Sarasota for 26 years. Today, she owns and operates that business, along with two additional locations she’s opened along the Suncoast. Her experience as a business owner has taught her the importance of exceptional service, attention to detail, and building relationships that last.
Meet Ron
The person people turn to.
Ron is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Sergeant with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. With decades of public service, he’s earned the trust of countless families throughout our community.
But his experience goes well beyond law enforcement. With a background in construction, extensive hands-on mechanical experience, and years spent owning, maintaining, and repairing boats, Ron is the person friends and family have always called when something needs to be fixed, handled, or figured out. His experience also includes working on aircraft, giving him a unique combination of practical skills and technical knowledge.
How it began
It started with trust.
And a simple request.
The idea for The HoCo actually started with Ron.
Over the years, people who knew and trusted him began asking if he could keep an eye on their homes while they were away. What started as simple requests for home watches grew into an idea: What if we could offer that same level of trust, reliability, and personal attention to more families throughout the Suncoast?
And that’s how The HoCo came to life.
We know how busy life gets. Between raising a family, running businesses, maintaining a home, and everything in between, there’s always more to do than there are hours in the day. We also know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust looking after your home, especially when you’re away.
Our goal is simple: to make life easier for our neighbors by providing dependable, thoughtful household services from people who truly care.
Sarasota has given our family so much, and we’re proud to continue investing in the community we love.
